Lisa Cenis has been a professional photographer since 1999. She graduated from Centenary College where she majored in the equine studies program. After college, Lisa married and was busy raising her two children with her husband, John. Now that the kids are out of the nest, Lisa has been able to pursue her life long love of the equine image and start her own business, "Shoot That Horse! Event and Farm Photography." Lisa recently completed her BA at UMASS and is now a licensed Pre-K-2 teacher in the state of Massachusetts.
Lisa's photographs have been featured on multiple covers of Carriage Driving World magazine, and she has had feature articles in Carriage Driving World,Driving Digest , the Northeast Equine Journal and the Horsemen's Yankee Pedlar. She is also a freelance photo-journalist for the Northeast Equine Journal and Massachusetts Horse. The Mischka Driving Calendar and Horse Classics Calendar have featured Lisa's photographs for use in their Driving Horse calendars. Additionally, her photos have been used in various breed newsletters and magazines here in the USA and internationally as well.
Lisa is a horse owner and driver herself and specializes in what she calls "The Driven Image." She has the background knowledge and the eye for the correct movement of the equine under harness. Her expertise and insight allow her to present the best possible photographs of "The Driven Image" for her clients.
